Join us in The Gallery at L.E. Shore for the Meet the Candidates Series, a non-partisan opportunity to hear from candidates running in the upcoming municipal election.

This session will feature Rachel Gilliand, candidate for Deputy Mayor, and Peter Bourdignon, candidate for Mayor.

Registration is required. Sessions will take place on select evenings throughout September and October, with individual candidate sessions scheduled in one-hour time slots. Each candidate will have three minutes to outline their platform, followed by a moderated Q&A featuring questions from attendees and the moderator.

*This is the final session of the Series.

MC duties will be shared by Christopher Thomas and Mike Pickering.

Please note: This is a non-partisan event. All candidates were invited to participate, and the BMPL does not endorse or support any candidate or political party. Campaigning, canvassing, or distributing campaign materials is not permitted in the Library outside of the scheduled candidate sessions. Attendees are asked to keep questions and comments respectful and focused on community issues.
