Digital Donation

What is a digital donation?

Digital donations are materials that are scanned and saved as a digital file in JPG or TIFF format, and then transferred through email or external drive to a museum or archive.

Technology is changing the way we live our lives - this is no different for our archives at the Craigleith Heritage Depot. Digital donations are an option to donate family and community history to the museum but keep the material that matters to you!

If you plan to digitally donate to the Craigleith Heritage Depot you will need to sign a Digital Donation form. The PDF “Digital Donation Sheet” can be fill it out and signed through Adobe, or you can print it, fill it out, scan it, and include it in your email or file transfer to the Craigleith Heritage Depot. If your device is unable to receive Adobe PDF you can email  Museum@TheBlueMountains.ca.

If you would like to know more about how to digitally donate and what you can donate contact us through email Museum@TheBlueMountains.ca or by phone (519) 599-3681 ext. 6
