Karin Modotto is an amateur photographer who loves to travel.  In 2015, she took up photography as a hobby. Recently retired after a 40-year career in IT, Karen is pursuing photography to express herself as an artist.

She lives in Wasaga Beach and enjoys taking photos of the sky where it complements the landscape or seascapes, and especially loves the Wasaga Beach sunsets.

Karin’s focus is taking photos that highlight mother nature's power and beauty while creating an image that displays a kaleidoscope of colour.  Her photography goal is to create photos that look like paintings that capture moments to remember.

Karin is a member of the Wasaga Artist Association and is the Chair of the Board for the Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts in Collingwood.
