Uncovering the past starts here. Have a local history question or research topic in mind? We can help you delve into the rich history of our community. Visit us, give us a call, or send an email to begin your exploration. For museum and archival services, please contact the Craigleith Heritage Depot.

For in-depth research or access to our full archival collection, an appointment is needed. If you’re unable to visit, we offer research services for a fee. We can provide a brief summary of our findings or compile a detailed dossier for your review.

To assist us in your research, please provide as much detail as possible about your inquiry. A completed Research Request Form will be required for all requests.

Equipped with a worktable, a Mac desktop computer, a microfiche reader, and shelves bursting with local history records, the Research Room is the perfect place to dive into archival resources.

- The Blue Mountains Public Library has a subscription to Ancestry Library Edition, accessed on the public access computer at Craigleith Heritage Depot. No remote access exists at this time.
