Chasing the Stars: Light Pollution & What We Can Do
Have you ever looked up at the night sky and wondered where all the stars have gone? Light pollution is growing every year, affecting our night skies, wildlife, and even our daily lives.Join local astronomer Chris Vaughan—the Geo Astro Guy and a Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC) member—for a fun, all-ages talk about light pollution and how smarter lighting can help protect the night while keeping us safe. Learn simple things you can do at home and in your community to make a difference.Weather permitting, we’ll head outdoors to view Jupiter and the Orion Nebula through a telescope, so dress warmly.In-person program. Story Time in the Story Tower
Meet us in the Story Tower at L.E. Shore Library for a fun and interactive Story Time on Fridays at 11:00am. Join us for stories, rhymes, movement, songs, and lots of FUN! Ages 0-5 and their caregivers. Siblings and older children welcome. Drop-in.
Tots Takeover - Playtime Friday
BMPL and EarlyON bring monthly fun for little ones! Enjoy stories, music, movement, and hands-on play. We’ll be painting snow, enjoying healthy snacks, and exploring together.
If the weather allows, we’ll paint outdoors—so bundle up! If it’s too cold, we’ll bring the snow inside and paint in the Gallery.

You'll be able to play Trivia Game Night throughout the week.

March Break The No-Bake Bake Off: Colourful Cupcakes
