Herb Walk at Clendenan with Barefoot Brian: PROGRAM FULL

-

Join us for a guided Herb Walk at Clendenan with Barefoot Brian. Explore the outdoors while learning to identify common herbs and useful plants found in nature. If weather conditions are too wet for an outdoor walk, we will meet in the Gallery Space instead, where Brian will share tips and tricks for foraging, how to properly identify plants, and ways to respectfully connect with the natural world.

A relaxed and informative experience for curious minds and nature lovers.

  • Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable closed-toe shoes suitable for walking. This is an easy hike suitable for most participants.
  • We’ll meet at Clendenan no later than 9:45 a.m. so we can get signed in, settled, and ready to go for our 10:00 a.m. start!

A note about participating outdoors:
This program takes place in a natural outdoor setting, where conditions can be unpredictable. By participating in the walk, you acknowledge that walking on natural trails involves some inherent risks, including slips, trips, falls, uneven terrain, wet or muddy conditions, insects, and other hazards associated with being outdoors. Please use your own judgment regarding your ability to participate and take appropriate precautions.

 Registration is required.
