Helping Birds in the Backyard

Local families are invited to L.E. Shore Library for a youth-focused workshop on how to support birds in your backyard. Learn about bird feeders, bird houses, and simple ways to make outdoor spaces more welcoming for local bird populations. Families will also receive a FREE Backyard Bird Kit, which includes a take-home build-your-own birdhouse, a birdfeeder, and a poster (one per family, while supplies last). This  is a youth-led event.

The workshop includes:

• A short presentation on backyard birds, presented by local students
• Tips for creating bird-friendly spaces
• Take-home birdhouse kits giveaway
