Join author Callie O’Reilly for an evening of conversation, reading and reflection surrounding her debut memoir, Let Me Down: Reflections on Abuse and Love.
In Let Me Down, O’Reilly shares her deeply personal experience of an abusive relationship while she was a university student in Toronto. The memoir explores the nuance and complexity of abusive relationships and challenges common misconceptions about what abuse can look like. It opens up important conversations around shame, trauma, consent and the ways women can be left without spaces to talk openly about their experiences. RSVP below.
