Step back in time with Ken Haigh, the first CEO of the L.E. Shore Memorial Library, as he shares the story of the library’s creation in 1995 and the community effort that made it possible. He will be joined by current BMPL CEO Jennifer Murley for a conversation about how the library has grown over the past three decades and what the future of library service in The Blue Mountains may look like.
This special evening also features:
• A presentation by curator Alessia Farris on the long history of library service in TBM
• Memories from the past thirty years
• Light refreshments and community mingling
• The 30 x 30 anniversary art show by BayValley Artists (formally Marsh Street Artists) inspired by the library
Celebrate our history, our people, and the next chapter of your library.
