Drop by the Gallery on June 3 between 2-4pm for the reception of our June exhibit – Fibre, Wood and Steel! Featuring Brian Nelson, Ursula Matrosovs (Ontario Society of Artists; OCAD) and Steven White, this is a fantastic opportunity to meet the artists and take in a breathtaking contrasting of elements!
The show features three local artists, each working with one of our most fundamental materials. They explore how these everyday materials can be transformed into unusual, visually striking, and often thought-provoking art. This combination of diverse media, methods and perspectives forms a very special exhibit – a rare opportunity to experience an exceptionally broad range of artistic creations in one show.
Fibre, Wood and Steel show closes Wednesday, June 28 – don’t miss stopping by this month!

ACC Presents: Bike Canada Event 4 Life

On Tuesday, June 6 at 7pm, join Melanie Johns, Tim Johns and Nicki Prevost for a transportive recounting of their cycling trip across Canada!
These three local cyclists set out on their “Event for Life” - the goal? To cycle across Canada and prove that this feat can be accomplished by anyone! Traveling from Mike Zero in Victoria through our expansive provinces all the way to the Atlantic Ocean, they quickly collected stories to tell, adventures to recount and technical aspects of the trip to relay!
2023 Arts Walk – Homes & Artists Needed!
Are you an artist or do you have a home along Bruce or Marsh Streets? We need you!
The Arts & Culture Council are planning an Arts Walk on Saturday, July 8 from 10am-4pm. This free event will include Galleries, businesses, restaurants, the L.E. Shore Library, parks/parkettes, and the front lawns of homes between the Downtown Thornbury and the Downtown Clarksburg districts. We are currently looking for homes and artists to participate in this 2.2km Art Walk!
Homes are needed between the two Downtowns to host artists, making this event a true Arts Walk from beginning to end. This will include allowing an artist to set up a 10’x10’ tent on the front lawn or driveway, park one car on site, and provide washroom access to the artist, if required.
Artists are needed to make this an ARTS Walk! Artists of all mediums are welcome to apply to display their work and do live demonstrations. If located outside, a 10’x10’ tent is recommended, which artists are responsible for providing.
Together we can make this a fantastic day for our local communities and tourists alike. We look forward to hearing from you!
