Pollinate Event: Adopt a Pollinator Patch

Join Pollinate TBM at the L.E. Shore Library for a hands-on morning dedicated to our local pollinators! This interactive event offers something for all ages, from practical gardening demonstrations to creative crafts.

Event Highlights:

  • Expert Guidance: Enjoy a 20-minute slideshow for adults in the Gallery focused on pollinator health and native plants.
  • Kids’ Corner: Ongoing crafts and face painting will be available in the Gallery throughout the event.
  • Garden Demo: Head to the Courtyard for a live 20-minute demonstration on how to plant your own pollinator patch.
  • Interactive Fun: Help us decorate our community canoe in the Courtyard or snap a photo in our giant butterfly chair. Enjoy light refreshments.

  • Plant Giveaway: Households can pick up free plants in the parking lot to start their own gardens at home.

    Open to all ages; activities are designed to be family-friendly.

    This event is made possible thanks to a Sustainability Grant from the Town of The Blue Mountains.
