Explore the Night Sky with Us!
Mark your calendar for an out-of-this-world evening on Thursday, August 14th at 7:30 PM at the L.E. Shore Library. We’re excited to welcome Chris Vaughan from the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada – Toronto Centre, who will guide us through an engaging presentation about the organization’s mission, its programs, the history of the Carr Observatory, and some of the most exciting recent discoveries in space.
After the talk, we’ll make our way to the Carr Observatory for a stargazing session (weather permitting). Please note that parking is limited — carpooling is encouraged. Don’t forget to dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes, as we’ll be outside under the stars.
Registration is required to guarantee a spot at the observatory.
