Exhibit Reception: Magic of Children in The Arts

During the fall, instructors for Magic of Children in the Arts have brought art classes to Beaver Valley Community School students. Students have honed their artistic skills through the creation of hundreds of art pieces, which will soon be brought together for a bright and vibrant show in our Gallery! We are so excited to be showcasing these young artists.
The opening is December 9 from 2-4pm – don’t miss it! Enjoy the display as you warm up with hot apple cider and treats and then head down to the Olde Fashioned Christmas events happening in downtown Thornbury!
Holiday Entertaining with The Cheese Gallery

The Cheese Gallery will be hosting a truly cheese-tastic evening in our Gallery! An Arts & Culture Council Presents event!
When: Friday, December 8 at 6:30pm.
Registration Deadline: Friday, December 1 at 11:50pm.
The Event: Explore the world of cheese as The Cheese Gallery’s cheesemonger and cheese expert walks you through the tips and tricks of building an Instagram worthy holiday cheese board. There will be lots of time for questions, sampling and socializing as participants will be able to enjoy the cheese board made during this session!
The Cheese Gallery: A staple on the main street of Thornbury since 2010, The Cheese Gallery was established as a go-to location for cheese enthusiasts and food lovers from Thornbury and across the region. With a curated selection of international cheeses and gourmet products, as well as a knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff, The Cheese Gallery is the place to find everything you are looking for and more.
Tickets - $25.00: Tickets can be booked online, by calling 519 599 3681 or by emailing TheGallery@TheBlueMountains.ca. Tickets must be booked in advance by end of day December 1. Payment is required prior to the event.
Annual Colour Show – Applications Open!
Annually, The Gallery hosts a colour themed show in February. Artists are invited to submit their work and the Gallery is filled, floor to ceiling and everywhere in between, with art! This year, we are Celebrating the vibrant colour of Turquoise!
Applications can be accessed online or in person at the Gallery at L.E. Shore. The deadline to apply is February 1 at 7pm.
