This event was previously scheduled for December 5, 2024, but has been rescheduled for January 14, 2025. The snow date (in the event of cancelation) is January 21, 2025.

Michael (Mike) Arkless invites you to experience a breathtaking journey through Iceland via the Icelandic Ring Road. Registration is required for this event.

The Icelandic Ring Road, also known as Route #1, is a national road that runs all around the country, connecting major towns and cities. The road is a little over 1300km long, making it the longest road in Iceland.

This presentation will explore the many facets that make Iceland unique, using the Ring Road as the connecting thread of Mike and his wife, Gillian’s, adventure.

Witness the Power of the earth itself, the Glaciers and Ice, the Water, the Highlands, the Wildlife and Seascape, as well as some of the manmade architecture that seeks to impose itself upon the land.
