Stories of the Stars: Indigenous Astronomy

Explore the stars through the lens of Indigenous astronomy! Join us for an evening of storytelling and cultural teachings as we learn about traditional constellations, celestial stories, and their deep connections to the land. Chris Vaughan, aka AstroGeoGuy, is trained in Indigenous astronomy, including alternative constellations and star lore from Ontario, Canada, and other world cultures. Weather permitting, we’ll head outside for guided stargazing.

Special Guest: Chris Vaughan, a professional astronomer and Earth scientist, will guide us through these celestial stories and share his expertise.
