MAY WE INTRODUCE OURSELVES?

We are a fellowship of authors of all stripes, combining the writers' groups in Wasaga Beach, Collingwood, Thornbury, Meaford, and Owen Sound, and we welcome new members, whether or not they're affiliated with one of these groups.

Our current membership includes novelists, children's authors, memoirists, poets, short fiction writers, and nonfiction writers, at every stage of development and level of ability. Our mission is to support and encourage our fellow authors with a broad variety of educational, informational, and networking opportunities.

In the past, individual groups have engaged in projects such as e-published anthologies of members' work and open-mic readings for the public to attend. We've participated in events hosted/sponsored by our local Library and Arts organizations. We've hosted workshops and celebrated our members' successes. Now that we've joined forces, even more exciting possibilities open up. If you're a writer, we invite you to become part of them. Membership in the Connection is free.
