Join Tom Strnad, an Avid Certified Media Composer instructor for a 2-day master class workshop: Avid Media Composer Fundamentals I.
You're about to take the first step toward achieving confidence, creativity, and efficiency with Avid Media Composer — the non-linear film/video editing application used in most movie and television productions. Together with the second course in the series, Media Composer Fundamentals II (MC110), this course provides the foundational training required to achieve the Avid Certified User: Media Composer credential.
As you work through the lessons, you'll develop an understanding of the video editing process and the basic skills needed to edit a video project from start to finish. By the end, you'll understand the relationship between media and project files. And you'll know how to create a project, bring in source video and audio files, edit a sequence and add elements like titles, music, and basic effects. All that and you'll be able to upload a final program to Youtube.
