Letters to Santa

It’s that magical time of year again!
Sharpen your pencils and gather your best holiday wishes—it’s time to write a letter to the one and only Santa Claus!

Starting Saturday, November 22, visit the Library to find our Letters to Santa writing station, complete with festive paper and a bright red North Pole Mailbox.

This year’s beautiful letter template, illustrated once again by Ashley Green, owner of The Imagination Studio, captures the sparkle and wonder of the season. Pick one up at the L.E. Shore Library and get ready to send your wishes to the North Pole!

Here’s how it works:

  • Write your letter using the special Santa stationery.
  • Include your first and last name, caregiver’s email, and home address so Santa knows where to send his reply.
  • Handwrite your address—it’s great practice, and Santa loves to see careful printing!
  • Drop your letter into the bright red North Pole Mailbox at the Library.
  • Wait for some Christmas magic! Santa’s helpers will prepare a reply just for you.

When replies are ready:

Library staff will email you a digital copy of your child’s letter from Santa.

If you’d like to keep the original letter and a printed copy of Santa’s reply, they’ll be available for pickup at the front circulation desk.

Our Letters to Santa program runs until after our Very Vintage Christmas event on December 13—so be sure to get those letters in before Santa’s sleigh takes off!
