Inuit artist, Kuzy, with stone sculpture
-

Join acclaimed Inuk sculptor, storyteller and videographer Koomuatuk (Kuzy) Curley for an inspiring evening exploring his artistic journey, traditional Inuit stone carving, and the cultural significance of his work in the circumpolar North. Originally from Kinngait (Cape Dorset), Nunavut, Curley's sculptures and public art commissions have been exhibited and collected across Canada and internationally.

As part of the Beaver Valley Fall Fair, Kuzy will also be demonstrating his stone carving on-site and exhibiting his artwork at the Beaver Valley Community Centre. Don't miss this unique opportunity to experience his artistry both at the Fall Fair and during this special L.E. Shore Library presentation.

Following the talk, there will be an opportunity for audience questions and conversation.
