On April 11, join us for a talk about the Pollinate TBM project!
Pollinate TBM is a grassroots community-based initiative supported by volunteers from various communities of the Town of the Blue Mountains (TBM). Its objective is to make TBM a pollinator (bee, butterfly and other beneficial insects) friendly community by creating a series of pollinator habitats across this geographically large community, while educating residents on the environmental benefits and the need for bee/butterfly friendly sustainable gardens. The work of Pollinate TBM has resulted in the community receiving a “Butterflyway” designation from the David Suzuki Foundation Butterflyway Project. Learn more about Pollinate TBM on their website: www.pollinateTBM.ca
Come and learn about the issues facing pollinators, why this project is important and how you can make an impact in your community!
