GALLERY EVENTS

May 2: “The Nature of Seeing” Art Reception
Exhibit Opening
2-4pm | FREE | Drop-In
This photography and mixed-media exhibition brings two artists together - Eden Watt and Mikael Sandblom - whose work engages with the landscape in distinct yet complementary ways. One observes and records the visible world, the play of light, water, and terrain, while the other explores the act of perception itself, how vision constructs and transforms what is seen. Together, their works invite viewers to reflect on the space between the outer world and the inner experience of seeing it, where observation becomes awareness.

May 3: Pop in for an Art Pop Up
Art Event
2-4pm | FREE | Drop-In
Drop by The Gallery for a relaxed art pop up with Beverley Smith, featuring new work from her third year at the La Macina Di San Cresci artist residency in Italy.

May 17: Chalk the Lot
Art Event
11am-3pm | FREE | Drop-In
Get in touch with your artistic side and make some sidewalk chalk art at the L.E. Shore Library! We’ll supply the chalk (and cold lemonade!), just bring yourself and your imagination. We’re also excited to host artist Nicole Foster, who will be crafting a chalk piece to show what can be accomplished with just art supplies and a stretch of asphalt.
