The story of the Craigleith Station Building begins in 1880, a distinctive structure built for the Northern Railway on land connected to famed Canadian engineer Sir Sandford Fleming's family. After its life as a vital railway hub for early ski trains, the building was saved from demolition in 1966 and reopened as a restaurant. Today, the fully restored station is the Craigleith Heritage Depot, an award-winning cultural center and GLAM (Gallery, Library, Archive, Museum) for the Town of The Blue Mountains community.

Step back in time and discover the story of Craigleith Station. This exhibit presents a look at the building's history, showcasing its transformation through archival images and historical documents from the buildings earliest days to its current form.
