The TOPDON AD500 OBD2 scanner is a diagnostic tool for 1996 and newer vehicles, offering features like reading and clearing fault codes, viewing live data, and performing resets for oil, throttle, steering angle, and tire pressure. It supports various OBDII protocols and can access engine, ABS, SRS, and transmission systems. The AD500 also offers features like freeze frame data, O2 sensor tests, and EVAP tests. It can retrieve vehicle information (VIN, CID, CVN) and has a built-in DTC lookup library with generic and manufacturer-specific code definitions. The AD500 also allows users to access on-board diagnostic monitoring test results and turn off the check engine light after repairs.
