Astro Night with RASC

-

Don't miss one of our most exciting summer events! Join us on Thursday, August 13, at 7:30 p.m. at the L.E. Shore Library for a fascinating presentation by a member of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, Toronto Centre. Learn about the organization, its programs, the history of the Carr Observatory, and some of the latest discoveries in astronomy.

Following the presentation, we will head to the Carr Observatory for an evening of stargazing, weather permitting. Parking at the observatory is limited, so we encourage participants to carpool whenever possible. Please dress warmly and wear closed-toe shoes, as we will be outdoors. Registration is required, and only registered participants will be guaranteed a spot at the observatory.

Astro Night is a family-friendly program, so bring the kids along for an evening of celestial fun!
