Get ready for a summer filled with discovery, creativity, and fun at the Blue Mountains Public Library, your local Gallery, Library, Archives, and Museum (GLAM). We’ve curated an exciting list of activities for all ages and interests. Here are the top 5 things you won’t want to miss!

1. TD Summer Reading Club Launch (June 22, 2024 -All Summer)
Get ready for an out-of-this-world experience with the TD Summer Reading Club! Registration opens on June 22nd at the Clarksburg Children's Festival. Visit the BMPL booth to register, pick up your reading bags, and fun activities! Families can also look forward to a visit from the Ontario Planetarium on July 8. Registration is required.

2. TBM Arts & Crafts Walk (July 6, 2024 – 10 am – 4 pm)
The Arts & Crafts Walk returns to Thornbury and Clarksburg. Stroll Bruce and Marsh streets to see booths and displays of handmade artwork, unique crafts, and artisanal goods. Enjoy live music, delicious food, and celebrate the local arts and culture scene.

3. Books in the Park (Various Locations and Dates – 1-3 pm)
Pop-up Libraries will be at different parks throughout The Town of The Blue Mountains. Join us throughout the summer and fall to borrow books, participant in a fun craft or activity, join a conversation circle, or simply read with others in the park. Bring your family and friends!

4. Gardener-In-Residence (L.E. Shore - 4th Tues. of Every Month 12:30-1:30 pm)
The Gardener-in-Residence program supports Grey County Master Gardeners exchanges between gardeners and the community. It creates and delivers programs, provides garden feedback, and meets with gardeners in the community.

5. Help Us Map the TBM: The Town of The Blue Mountains Cultural Map (Ongoing)
Museum staff are working with the Town to develop an online interactive map to make historical information more accessible. This map will showcase our community's unique cultural, natural, and historical treasures, both past and present. Share stories, photos, and historical documents that reflect what makes the TBM special. Visit our event calendar, the Museum, or our website to make a site recommendation.
