Municipal Art Program (MAP)

The Municipal Art Program is an initiative by the Town of The Blue Mountains. Inaugurated in 2012, the program is designed to provide a showcase for the works of artists in the region while enhancing the environment of the Town Hall for employees and visitors. All works, distributed throughout the Town Hall facility, are on loan from the artists for a period of one year. MAP provides a venue to showcase and promote the region’s artists at The Blue Mountains Town Hall for all to enjoy. In 2019, the Blue Mountains Public Library with the Arts & Culture Council, began administration of MAP on behalf of the Town.

If you wish to inquire about purchasing one of the works, please contact MAP@TheBlueMountains.ca. Information about each artist is also available in the virtual exhibit and in the MAP brochures, which include color photographs of each work. A printed version of the current annual guide is available in the Atrium at Town Hall and at The Gallery in L.E. Shore.
