Holiday Shopping Spree!

Saturday, December 11th | 1:00-3:00pm | The Gallery at L.E. Shore

Join the Arts & Culture Council (ACC) for our December Arts and Crafts Show! L.E. Shore’s Gallery and Showcases will be filled with artwork and crafts from local artists and artisans, a perfect stop on your holiday shopping adventures.

Swing by December 11th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm for our Holiday Shopping Spree! This is the perfect opportunity to pick up one-of-a-kind gifts for family and friends, or even for yourself! We don’t judge. Meet the artists participating in this exhibit while you're visiting. Ask questions, have a chat, and then head down to Olde Fashioned Christmas in downtown Thornbury.

Buy local this season and get your Holiday shopping done in one easy trip! Our Gallery and Showcases are filled with art, crafts, and great gifts for you and your loved ones. Featuring the works of local artists and crafters: Sandra Whitehead, Tanya Zaryski, Bonnie Fox, Heather Murray, Judy Scopes, Craig Sealy, Diana Bick, Beverley Smith, Amanda Millar, Richenda Ellis, and the participants from Events for Life. If you can't make it in, visit this exhibit virtually and call or email L.E. Shore to make purchases!

Call for Artists: The Colour Purple

Every year the ACC hosts a salon show where artists submit to hang in The Gallery and we cover the walls from floor to ceiling with local art. The 2022 Salon Show will open on Saturday, January 29th and run through Friday, February 24th with a theme of The Colour Purple. This year, artists may submit up to 3 pieces. There is a $10 charge for the application which includes between 1 and 3 pieces. Only 1 application per artist will be accepted. For more information visit our Applying to Exhibit webpage. Deadline to apply and drop off your pieces is January 28, 2022.

Call for Artists: 2022 Juried Show

The Gallery at L.E. Shore will be holding a Juried Show in summer 2022. Categories include 2D, 3D, and Photography in age divisions of General and Youth (20 and under). The application portal is now open and closes on April 30, 2022. A $25 application fee per submission will apply for General applications. No fee is charged for Youth applicants. Announcing the 2022 Exhibit Lineup

The 2022 exhibit schedule is now available on The Gallery at L.E. Shore's Gallery of Exhibits page. You can look forward to an open show in February, a juried competition this summer, and artists from across the Southern Georgian Bay region. We look forward to seeing you at each exhibit, and hope to begin receptions or meet the artist activities as COVID restrictions allow.
