Call for Artists-Municipal Arts Program

The Municipal Art Program (M.A.P.) is an initiative by the Town and The Blue Mountains Public Library. Inaugurated in 2012, the program is designed to provide a showcase for the works of artists in the region while enhancing the environment of the Town Hall for employees and visitors. All works are on loan from the artists for a period of one year. M.A.P. provides a venue to showcase and promote the region’s artists at The Blue Mountains – Town Hall and online for all to enjoy.

The Application Portal for M.A.P. is now open and closes May 31, 2021, so apply today!

Call for Artists-The Gallery 2022 Exhibition Schedule

The Gallery at L.E. Shore is our main room and is a large open space. During the pandemic, this space is also being used as a browsable library room, which we hope will return to full Gallery space sometime during 2022. The Gallery is used for Library speaker series and other programs, so all materials must be able to be securely affixed to the walls. Pottery, jewelry, or other art forms may be considered for display in the Showcases and, when approved by the ACC as part of the annual exhibition plan, can be promoted as part of the monthly show. These shows are also available online.

Application forms for exhibiting in The Gallery can be found on our Applying to Exhibit page. The Application period is now open and closes August 31, 2021.
