This exhibit is available in-person at The Gallery in the L.E. Shore branch of The Blue Mountains Public Library. For more information on the exhibit contact L.E. Shore by phone by calling 519-599-3681 ext. 142, or through emailing TheGallery@TheBlueMountains.ca.
2023 Gallery Schedule - Applications Now Open!
The Gallery at L.E. Shore is our main room and is a large open space. The Gallery is used for Library speaker series and other programs, so all materials must be able to be securely affixed to the walls. Pottery, jewelry, or other art forms may be considered for display in the Showcases and, when approved by the ACC as part of the annual exhibition plan, can be promoted as part of the monthly show.
Applications to exhibit in 2023 are now open and close August 31, 2022. For information on how to apply, visit our Applying to Exhibit webpage.
Join the Arts and Culture Council
The Arts and Culture Council (ACC) was established in early 1996 as a companion to The Gallery at L.E. Shore. The intent of establishing the council was to showcase artists both local and abroad, as well as to provide guidance for art programming in the public space. Members past and present have included some of the most prominent artists from the community, making for an eclectic and innovative mixture of programming and exhibitions. The ACC supports The Gallery at L.E. Shore by organizing exhibitions focusing on the work of local artists in our Gallery and the Town Hall, and by facilitating an ongoing program of cultural events.
If you or anyone you know are interested in joining us, please visit our Arts and Culture Council webpage to view the application details. Deadline for submitting the application and letter of interest is August 15, 2022.
