The Blue Mountains Public Library (BMPL) is inviting applications for new members of the Arts & Culture Council (ACC). The ACC is a body of volunteers with a passion for the arts that offers curated experiences at (primarily) The Gallery at L.E. Shore (located in the BMPL).

Purpose of the ACC

The ACC supports The Gallery at L.E. Shore by organizing exhibitions highlighting the work of (primarily) local artists, by facilitating an ongoing series of cultural events and by providing guidance on facility related upgrades.

Available Positions

The following volunteer positions on the ACC are open for application:

Event Planner & Coordinator

An ACC position requires roughly 5-10 hours of commitment per month. This number may vary each month based on planned programs and exhibits. Please see the ACC’s Schedule Overview for more information.

Length of Term

The available positions will begin in the latter part of the current Council’s term, which ends in December 2025. At the end of 2025, current members must only verbally confirm their interest to be “reappointed” for the next 3-year term (2026-2029).
