How to use the catalogue: The search type box(es) determine the type of search you are using to search for library material. You can search using a key word (or phrase), subject, author (last name, first name), title, call number or ISBN.
Select the type of search you want to do by clicking on the down arrow on the left side of the search type box(es). Once the choices are displayed, choose the type you want to do.
Input your search term(s): author, title subject or keyword. Author must be in reverse order: last name, first name
(don't forget the comma and the space).
Click on the Search button (magnifying glass).
In this example the book The Partner was chosen. To find out if the book is available click on Copies.
If you just want information about the book click on the underlined title The partner/
When you click on Copies the screen informs the patron that one copy of the book is available in the library. You may now reserve the book by clicking on the Reserve button.By clicking on the Reserve button you will be prompted by a screen asking for your patron information
Your barcode number is the last four numbers excluding the very last number
For example Leonard's Shore's card number is 6079 NOT 60798 OR 0798.
Enter your first name and last name in the proper boxes. The UserDef1 box is for your phone number.HINT: Please include area code eg: 555-555-5555
